Subject:for you halo 2 "lovers"...
Time:9:20 pm.
http://grouphug.us/confessions/417409628

I am a very sad man. I am a 16 year old boy (just turned 16) and I recently got a copy of Halo 2. It is the best game ever!

But playing the game just wasn't satisfying enough. For some strange reason I felt the urge to have sex with the disk. I lubed up my memeber and put it through the hole in the middle. It was the best masturbation I have ever had! It though because I was overly horny, I used butter as lube and now my Xbox can't read the disk. A great waste of $60!

anyone know of openings for sophomores from mit majoring in eecs and minoring in management?

my lil' sis is in search of a summer internship. it doesn't have to be paid, but she'd really like to work somewhere she'll be challenged to learn something. she doesn't have a ton of experience but is sharp as nails & a very quick learner...

Subject:hehe.
Time:9:53 pm.
one day a young man was walking down a road when a frog called to him.

"boy, if you kiss me, i will turn into a beautiful princess."

the young man picked up the frog, smiled at it and put it in his pocket. now the frog was upset.

"boy, what is the matter? i have told you that i am a beautiful princess, and if you kiss me, i'll be yours."

the young man took the frog out of his pocket, looked at it, smiled and said:

"look, i'm a computer programmer, i have no time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog is cool!"

Subject:in search of something new
Time:3:07 pm.
Mood: restless.
i really need something new. something to be interested by. something to look forward to. something that makes life a little bit different than the day before. a new friend? a new hobby? a dog? i don't think material possessions will cut it. i'm just sick of the routine that my life's become and, well, sick of some of the people in it too. and the ones i'm not sick of, i'm afraid they're getting sick of me. i can't really put my finger on it. i miss jazz, spice, luster, fun, whatever you wanna call it.

maybe it's time to move to spain. :-)

i woke up this morning feeling revived...for no particular reason...just completely ready to take control of my life & kick ass on all the things on my "list". maybe it's the 12 hours of sleep, maybe it's my head feeling sick of being debilitated by stress, maybe it's just plain denial of the mountain i'm up against. whatever it is, i'm not going to question it. despite everything, i have so much to be thankful for. so here goes.

i'm losing 1 - 7 in the first week of fba.
my second round pick got injured in game 1.
my guys shot 9/23, 6/16, 1/5, and 2/8 tonight.
this is NOT the way to avenge my .001 point third-tie-break loss last year.

COME ON, chub-ass cherrypickers. it's time to step up.
i've talked too much trash to have a miserable year.

Subject:am i elitist?
Time:10:59 pm.
Mood: contemplative.
Music:kealii reichel - e o mai.
there are a few traits that most annoy me about people and cause me to lose interest in being friends with them almost immediately. lately, though, i'm realizing that maybe these traits are tied to how privileged an upbringing they've had, in which case, does that make me classist/elitist? here are some examples:

cheapness: i cannot stand people who are cheap with their money. whether that means not putting in enough for tax & tip at dinner, or calculating to the penny what i owe them but always rounding down to the nearest $10 when they owe me, or refusing to contribute extra to cover the birthday girl/boy's meal, it makes me sick. but i can see how being super careful with your money comes from not having much of it (either in the past or present)...

stupidity: i can't stand people who lack general common sense. like the girl who works at the pearl milk tea store. i like my tea less sweet than standard, so i asked her to mix one ladle of the unsweetened stuff with one ladle of the sweetened stuff. every time, she looks puzzled, claims she's not sure if she's allowed to do that, and i end up settling for the sweet stuff. but i can see how being not-that-sharp can come from not having the privilege of a good education, or not growing up in a family that valued education and placed challenging expectations upon you...

inappropriateness: people who never say the right thing, especially when you don't know them well, are hard for me to put up with. i don't tolerate racism, outright classist behavior, etc. when it's in the wrong context (ie: when you're not joking). but i can see how being crude or inappropriate stems from not having a family that taught you what you should and should not say starting from a young age...

egotism: people who can't stop saying how great they are...UGH! talk about the fastest way to fall off the list of people i enjoy hanging out with. don't brag to me about your grades, your car, your job, your clothes, or anything else. as i get to know you better, i'm sure i'll get to know those things about you, if they're true. much like the point about inappropriateness, though, i can also see how this trait could be the result of not learning humility from your family, or being/feeling so inferior that you feel like you have to prop yourself up...

anyway. i was thinking about that on the drive home tonight. and it made me wonder if i'm unfairly discriminatory about the type of friends i like to keep. thoughts?

Subject:hooray for wireless!
Time:1:44 pm.
Mood: nerdy.
Music:ozomatli - como vez.
this morning, sitting on the foot of my bed, i discovered that i have wireless access. only 14% signal strength, but hey, it works for me. it's tempermental, though...i can't move downstairs or into another room or even to the head of my bed. still, one of my neighbors must've left their network unencrypted. yay for mooching! if only i could figure out WHO it is, i'd buy them an amplifier and offer to pay part of their monthly fees. i'm so confused, though, because i can't get any high speed access at my place. unless maybe they installed a dedicated t1 or something?

read this for some funniness. i like this guy. he cracks me up!! here are some highlights:

How to Lose a Guy in Ten Seconds at the Bar: tell me how much you enjoy being an investment banker.

Girls spend their free time shopping for shoes, hair products and non-fat frozen yogurt. Guys spend their free time deciding who to play at wide receiver on their fantasy football team when the Vikings have a bye week. Girls spend all of their hard-earned money on shoes, hair products and non-fat frozen yogurt. Guys spend of all their hard-earned money trying to have sex with girls.

Memo to electronics store salespeople: if I ask you a technical question and all you do is read off what it says on the back of the box, you are not adding value. In fact, you are subtracting it. Please leave and find someone who is not an ignorant jackass.

Memo to people who email me asking me to join friendster.com: I already have a network of friends. They’re called my friends. Clearly you are not one of them.
